David Ngo is CTO of Metallic and is a 24 year veteran of Commvault. He started as a developer working on design and implementation of subsystems for what now is Commvault software, HyperscaleX, and Metallic. He went on to hold positions leading the Windows development team, managing technical alliances with partners such as Microsoft, NetApp, and VMware, and leading initial cloud efforts in the Office of the CTO. He then founded the Remote Managed Services team and launched the first version of Commvault SaaS. David graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and holds a number of patents.
